A Restaurant is available to buy in Sim Town! It's a little run down though... The previous owner was determined to see it didn't fall into the hands of undeserving Sims...
This quest is for unlocking the restaurant and Chef Outfits for your Sims. You have 3 days to complete the quest.
(All times listed are based on 3 star items)
1. Build the Restaurant - costs § 150,000 and takes 18 hours and 30 minutes to build.
2. Call a sim to the restaurant - immediately
3. Be nice to the Grouch - 4 minutes
4.Taste the Grouch's special dish - 1 minute
5. Complain to the Grouch - 2 hours 10 minutes
6. Call the first judge on a phone - 4 minutes
7. Take Wumples' order - 5 minutes
8. Cook any dish for Wumples - cook any dish you have already unlocked in the "cooking" section - 1 minute is the fastest
9. Serve food to Wumples - 10 minutes (tap on the plate and one of the actions will be "Serve Wumples".)
10. Call the second judge on a phone - 4 minutes
11. Take Santa's order - 5 minutes
12. Cook pizza for Santa - 40 minutes
13. Serve food to Santa - 10 minutes (just like serving Wumples)
14. Call the final judge on a phone - 4 minutes
15. Take the Grouch's order - 8 hours 30 minutes
16. Make a quiche for the Grouch - 4 hours (need to be at level 4 in the cooking hobby!)
17. Serve food to the Grouch - 10 minutes (like serving Wumples and Santa)
18. Investigate what the Grouch dropped - 5 minutes (tap on the glowing blue X on the ground)
19. Have a sim make a mud pie - 3 hours 30 minutes
20. Go to the restaurant - immediately
21. Give mud pie to Grouch - 4 hours 20 minutes
22. Open front door - costs §25,000 and takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to repair
1. Build the Restaurant - costs § 150,000 and takes 16 hours and 30 minutes to build.
(There is a run-down Restaurant in Sim Town that has been out of use for a while. Rumour has it that it's just become available to your Sims! It needs some serious foundation work, though!

3. Be nice to the Grouch - 4 minutes
(The Restaurant looks like it needs some serious renovations! Is that the Grouch standing at the front? What's he doing here?

4.Taste the Grouch's special dish - 1 minute
(Once, the Grouch was *the* chef in Sim Town, but no-one appreciated his fine cooking! Your Sims aren't skilled enough cooks to take over the business, he grumbles.

5. Complain to the Grouch - 2 hours 10 minutes
(The Grouch's signature dish was disgusting! Just like a mud pie!

6. Call the first judge on a phone - 4 minutes
(If your Sims can pass the taste testing verdict from 3 wise judges, the Grouch will let your Sims take over the Restaurant. Intriguing! Lets get this competition going!

7. Take Wumples' order - 5 minutes
(The first judge has arrived - it's Wumples! What does a Water-safe bunny eat?

8. Cook any dish for Wumples - cook any dish you have already unlocked in the "cooking" section - 1 minute Toast is the fastest
(Wumples says she's happy with anything! Anything, eh? Your Sim can cook whatever they want!

9. Serve food to Wumples - 10 minutes
(Wumples looks ravenous!
Tap on a plate of food and 'Serve' it to Wumples.)
10. Call the second judge on a phone - 4 minutes
(Wumples gives your Sim's cooking the thumbs up! Or is that paw up? Time to call the second judge! Who could it be?

11. Take Santa's order - 5 minutes
(The second judge is none other than the Captain of Christmas cheer! The President of presents himself! It's Santa!

12. Cook pizza for Santa - 40 minutes
(Santa is in the mood for Pizza! A simple meal will need serious flair if it's going to impress.

13. Serve food to Santa - 10 minutes (just like serving Wumples)
(Santa is beaming at the pizza your Sim just plated up!

14. Call the final judge on a phone - 4 minutes
(Santa adored the pizza! He said it was ho' ho' hot! Now for the final judge! Who is this connoisseur of cuisine, this nuncle of nourishment - this gentle gourmand of grand grub?

15. Take the Grouch's order - 8 hours 30 minutes
(The final judge turns out to be the Grouch himself! This is going to be one tough customer. Your Sim can do it!

(The Grouch is unimpressed by the menu and took FOREVER to choose but has finally requested... The Quiche!

17. Serve food to the Grouch - 10 minutes (like serving Wumples and Santa)
(The Grouch is tapping his foot impatiently, muttering.

18. Investigate what the Grouch dropped - 5 minutes
(The Grouch says your Sim's cooking is horrible! He storms off! Oh no! But what's that glowing 'X' on the ground? I think the Grouch dropped something!

19. Have a Sim make a mud pie - 3 hours 30 minutes
(The Grouch dropped a musty old notebook. It was hard to read, but it seemed to have recipes on it! Mud pies, tar soup and goop goulash. Gross! Wait... Maybe that's what the Grouch likes to eat! Have a Sim make a Mud Pie in the Garden Patch.)
20. Go to the restaurant - immediately
(Wow! Now that is an impressive mud pie! The Grouch will love it! Quick, make haste!
Send a Sim to the Restaurant to give it to the Grouch. Perhaps he's still there.)
21. Give mud pie to Grouch - 4 hours 20 minutes
(There's the Grouch!

22. Open front door - costs § 25,000 and takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to repair
(The Grouch's eyes widen in delight! He's ecstatic about the mud pie your Sim gave him! He said it was delicious - and decided to give your Sims the restaurant after all!
The Grouch has one condition: make mud pies for him after the grand opening!

You have unlocked the Candlelit Fork restaurant! Now you get to spend the time to repair it (works just like the stables).

You've blown through the 'Sous Judgemental' quest faster than a speedy whisk in a watery bisque and have won these dapper Chef outfits for your trouble! Find them in any wardrobe!
