This quest comes in multiple parts, you'll need to wait a day (or more?) between parts. Every part unlocks one of the costume packs.
Note: Speeding up the candies collecting with LPs give the amounts mentioned below, whereas waiting for the collecting to finish results in getting half the candies (as mentioned in the description of the task). The reappearance of monsters also seems inconsistent. (Based on information provided by our forum members).
