Available after completing The "Vacationer's Guide to the Outdoors" quest (but from the 26th of June)
There is no quest for this (and the upcoming) part!
Opening the picnic area and cleaning it up will unlock the Survivalist hobby.
Once you've opened the gate you're faced with a large cleanup operation.
The following items need to be cleaned up (times are for each item!):
- 1 time Trash: 15 mins
- 7 times Trash: 45 mins
- 3 times Trash: 1hr 30 mins
- 1 time Broken Lanten: 3 hrs 30 mins
- 6 times Jerrycan: 4 hrs 30 mins
- 1 time Trash: 6 hrs 30 mins
- 2 times Trash: 8 hrs 30 mins
- 2 times Gas Bottles: 10 hrs 30 mins
Once you're done with all the cleaning, you can start the Survivalist hobby by tapping the survival gear. Finishing within the given week UNLOCKS the picnic blanket in that area. (You can NOT buy this for at home!)
The Survivalist hobby is straight forward, it takes 2 hrs and 30 mins to collect each item.
Contrary to the information in the hobby panel and when finishing the hobby, the unlocking of the bridge is NOT available immediately. You'll have to wait until Thursday the 9th of July!
The picnic area offers a picnic for up to two Sims (10 mins):
You can now build the following (none of them are required for the bridge!):
- Birdfeeder near the toilets: 3 hrs 30 mins - § 25,000
- Birdfeeder near the BBQ: 4 hrs 30 mins - § 30,000
- Birdfeeder between bridge and picnic: 5 hrs 30 mins - § 40,000
- Lookout spot: 12 hrs 30 mins - § 65,000
All birdfeeders have the same actions with the same times (10 mins and 30 mins):
The Lookout spot offers actions for up to two Sims (Selfie - 10 secs, Test Depth - 15 mins, Admire View - 1 hr 30 mins):
Again, the unlocking of the bridge is NOT available immediately. You'll have to wait until Thursday the 9th of July!
