Quest: Multi-Story Renovations

Multi-Story Renovations: Unlocked at Level 17 to unlock the ability to add additional stories to your Sims' Houses. (This quest is a requirement for the DIY Balconies discovery quests!).
 

This is a time-limited quest-line, you're given 6 days (5 days 23 hours remaining at the start).
Reward: Elevators & Escalators pack. (Available in Online Store if you did not finish in time).

Please note that the times for certain objects may vary, they depend on the quality (star level).

- Build the Community Center (18 hours 12 mins)
- Send a Sim to the Community Center 
- Talk to Wumples (3 mins)
- Press ‘look upstairs’ button while at the Community Center 
- Carve Magnum Opus (12 hrs 30 mins)
- See Wumples for Psychoanalysis (7 mins)
- Share Ideas with Wumples (3 mins 30 secs)
- Call Home Store Hotline on a Phone (9 hrs)
- Browse the Internet (4+ mins)
- Bake Banana Bread (20 hrs, completes even if bread is burned, can be prepared)
- Check Email (36+ secs)
- Craft 1st Set of Woodworking Items (20+ mins, depending on luck!) Cancelled
- Creative Chat with a Sim (2 mins 48 secs)
- Call Home Store Hotline on a Phone  (9 hrs, can be prepared after/during the first hotline call)

- Build the Community Center (18 hours 12 mins)
  (The Community Center has been approved for construction on the Town Map! Rumor has it that the Community Center is unlike any building seen so far, including dedicated woodworking stations where dolls can spring to life, as well as karate and ballet lesson. Go build it!)

- Send a Sim to the Community Center 
  (It’s built! Send a Sim to the Community Center for the grand opening!)

- Talk to Wumples (2 mins)
  (The Community Center hired Sim Town’s greatest mascot, Wumples the Water-safe Bunny to promote the grand opening! Talk to her and find out more about the Community Center.)

- Press ‘look upstairs’ button while at the Community Center 
  (Wumples says the Community Center is a two-story building! All you have to do to look upstairs is press the 'Look Upstairs' arrow located near the top right of the screen. Press it now! You can change floors anytime by pressing the up and down arrows on the right when they appear.)

- Carve Magnum Opus (12 hrs 30 mins)
  (A dedicated woodworking area is upstairs! Your Sim isn’t interested in ‘practicing’ woodworking, they want to carve something super special! Get an adult Sim to carve their magnum opus on a woodworking bench!
Note: Find the woodworking benches upstairs at the community center.)

- See Wumples for Psychoanalysis (7 mins)
  (Your Sim did such an amazing job that they started to wonder whether supernatural forces were at play. Ghosts? Woodworking Aliens? Your Sim is freaked out, but luckily there's someone downstairs dressed as a bunny who is willing to provide free counselling. Get psychoanalysis from the bunny at the Community Center.)

- Share Ideas with Wumples (3 mins 30 secs)
  (During the counselling session with a stranger in a bunny costume your Sim had an idea. It has something to do with wood and floors.
Get your adult Sim to SHARE IDEAS with Wumples.)

- Call Home Store Hotline on a Phone (9 hrs)
  (That's it! The Community Center has a second floor, maybe more floors could be added to houses! Have a Sim call the Home Store Hotline by phone. Keep asking, and they'll offer more floors for homes in no time!)

- Browse the Internet (4 mins)
  (They did it! After talking to a Home Store staff member, they were convinced to add staircases and multi-story homes! Apparently it is going to take a lot of "coding" and "art" time... whatever that is. Maybe it's time to find out what the Home Store staff likes to eat. They're going to need sustenance! Browse the internet.)

- Bake Banana Bread (20 hrs, completes even if bread is burned, can be prepared)
  (Bananas! Apparently the Home Store staff loves to eat them. Add a ton of sugar for that over energized work ethic we need and BAM! Banana bread! Bake some banana bread in the oven.)

- Check Email (36 secs)
  (The banana bread went over well! Maybe somebody who works at the Home Store has sent you a thank you note. Check your email.)

- Craft 1st Set of Woodworking Items (20+ mins, depending on luck!) Cancelled
  (You have an email from the Home Store! It says, ‘We need your help. We're missing the woodworking items from the 1st SET of WOODWORKING COLLECTIBLES.
Could you build them at the Community Center on the woodworking bench for us? Much appreciated!’
Use the woodworking bench repeatedly until your Sim has made the 1st set of collectibles.)

- Creative Chat with a Sim (2 mins 48 secs)
  (You have an email from the Home Store! "We need some new staircase design ideas pronto! Can you help us?" Perhaps your Sim could discuss some woodworking ideas with a friend. Have a "Creative Chat' with a Sim.)

- Call Home Store Hotline on a Phone  (9 hrs, can be prepared after/during the first hotline call)
  (Your Sims had some great ideas for the staircase designs! Call the hotline by phone again and share them.)

- Talk to Wumples (2 mins)
  (The Home Store says they're close to finishing the staircases and will incorporate the new ideas! Tell Wumples about the great news! Wumples the Water-Safe Bunny is downstairs at the Community center.)

-  See Wumples for Psychoanalysis (7 mins)
  (Wumples thinks the supernatural forces from earlier may have had something to do with the success of the staircases. Your Sim is having another panic attack and needs a follow-up psychoanalyst session! Have a psychoanalysis with Wumples.)

- Have 3 Sims Dancing to a Stereo (2 mins 24 secs)
  (The Home Store just delivered everything needed to add additional floors to houses! Get 3 Sims to celebrate by dancing to a stereo!)

You’ve unlocked the ability to renovate and build TWO and THREE STORY HOUSES! You will find the tools you need under the 'House' category of the Home Store.
